You guys, this week has had some crazy highs, out of left field lows, and generally WTF moments, but I’m really excited about a few things today. 1. IT’S BIRTHDAY MONTH!!! 2. This means we’re almost exactly a one year #tbt to this #EJPweddings on safari AND this gorgeous bride is coming into town today! Cannot wait to catch up over cocktails tonight. 3. Wil and are going back to South Africa next year to shoot another wedding! So of course I’ve already started trip planning even though it isn’t until next December. 4. And since we’re getting ahead of ourselves over here I’ve already bought a huge 2016 wall calendar and am loving filling it in. 5. I’m about to hop on a call with my designer (and generally favorite people) @jenolmstead to brainstorm some really great EJP updates in the pipeline. ❤️❤️❤️

A little bit more #aboutme. We got married in Summer 2014.. And. I wore a #yellowweddingdress! This is one of my favourite parts of our #lovestory. My husband is of Dutch heritage, and his grandparents got married back in Holland during the war. Since materials were scarce, her wedding dress was made of a yellow silk parachute. When he asked me to wear a yellow wedding dress, I couldn’t say no. Yellow also happens to be my favourite colour, one that represents happiness and optimism.
